- Abstract
The article discusses archeological research on ancient grave sites on Leros Island, Dodecanese, Greece, focusing on the investigation of two Hellenistic glass alabastra discovered in the excavations beginning in 1979. Topics include the core-forming process used in the vessels' manufacture, detailed description of the appearance and condition of the pieces including the repair of one that was found damaged, and analysis of the cultural significance of such glassware and the historical significance of the find.
