- Abstract
This work provides an in-depth analysis of the effects of different operating parameters on the non-thermal plasmabased dye removal from aqueous solutions at the laboratory scale. The non-thermal plasma treatment of dye solutions by electrical discharge, which involves the addition or removal of catalysts or feed gas, has made tremendous progress in the last 20 years. The majority of these studies aimed to shorten the duration of therapy and improve dye removal efficiency. It is now appropriate to combine the results of these studies to help current researchers understand the effects of different operational parameters related to dye removal and plasma generation. The purpose of this review is to advance the implementation of Non Thermal Plasma (NTP) for the removal of dye from aqueous solutions.
