- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of endonucleases such as Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeat (CRISPR) for bringing gene modification in monkeys and generating human disease models. It states that mutagenesis was performed in several tissues of the monkeys including heart, liver and spleen, and several methods such as Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), polymerase chain reaction and sequencing, were used to analyze the mutagenesis.
