- Title
Section 1: Sediment quality and impact assessment.
- Authors
Petticrew, Ellen
- Abstract
The author offers information about her investigation on sediment quality and impact assessment, with the theme the fate and effect of sediment moving from terrestrial systems through the aquatic systems. She claims that the research addresses the role of inorganic and organic sediments on the biological and physical aspects of land-water systems. Moreover, the author stresses on the challenges associated with the research especially in the field of aquatic sediment. She also emphasizes that the integration of the research data to address concerns related to the biological functioning of the system on both meso and large scales is another current research challenge.
