- Abstract
The article reports on the agreement of the Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA) to the 2008 budget for it offers financial support to the nursing community. The budget includes funding for postgraduate mental health nursing programs and for breast cancer nurses. RCNA executive director Rosemary Bryant says the budget showed the government's commitment to hospital and healthcare reform. She is also optimistic that it would help address the country's nursing shortage.
