The article discusses language and science education in Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) reforms and the role of teachers as leaders. Topics discussed include practices are essential to teaching and learning is the benefit of the NGSS, working with colleagues can help in learning from teachers who have a richer understanding of the NGSS and strength of conversational language is there if teachers share knowledge and weakness is there If knowledge is not shared.
