- Title
THE WORLD ECONOMY.
- Abstract
The article presents an analysis on the condition of financial institutions in Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) economies of OECD countries. It cites a cumulative decline of 2.4 percent estimation when it comes to the level of global output, following the collapse of Lehman Brothers and before the first quarter of 2009. The author points out that these sharp declines can be expected in all the OECD economies in 2009, but with exceptions of Australia and Poland.
