- Abstract
Primary tumors of anal ducts are considered to be extremely rare. A case of adenocarcinoma of anal duct origin is reported. The pathological presentation of this case was a minute adenocarcinoma located in the anal ducts, which showed a transition from normal anal ducts to carcinoma. This tumor was PKP-negative. There was no fistula in the anorectal region. This fact indicated that the carcinoma cells originated in the anal ducts. Copyright © 1991 S. Karger AG, Basel
