Technique of Using Robots to Weld Excavator Booms.
- Abstract
Welding robot is crucial welding equipment in the field of construction machinery, and its application promotes the mature development of construction machinery industry. As a shaped large structural component, the excavator boom still faces bottlenecks in terms of manufacturing technology when using robots for welding, mainly manifested as problems such as inconsistent weld quality. These problems include weld line deviation, poor weld formation and internal quality, etc., which have an impact on the quality stability and manufacturing efficiency of the boom. To solve these problems, a series of undesirable phenomena occurring in the welding process with the robot are analyzed in detail, and the deformation law is obtained. At the same time, a reasonable robot welding process is developed, and a set of models and principles applicable to various situations are established to guide programming, thereby promoting the widespread application of robot welding.
