- Abstract
Several neurological complications have been observed with Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The neurological complications related with COVID-19 infection is explained with different mechanisms such as direct invasion of central nervous system, autoimmune processes and systemic and metabolic complications due to associated critical illness. We discussed the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system related complications of COVID-19 seperately. The most common central nervous system involvement was headache where as the most common periperal nervous system involvement was hyposmia. The neurological manifestations and complications of COVID-19 has been discussed and summarized which will facilitate prompt diagnosis of the virüs manifesting with neurological symptoms.
