- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of dance as a form of therapy for mentally-retarded children at Parsons State Hospital and Training Center in Kansas. It notes that dance could help in the physical development and behavioral changes of this group of children. Moreover, this type of therapy enables children to acquire skills essential in developing their normal functioning ability, allowing them to live normally in the community.
