- Abstract
The article reports on a study which examined the role of mitochondria in the differential action of sodium deoxycholate (NaDOC) and ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) on rat duodenum. Topics include the possible differential effects of UDCA and NaDOC on the redox state of duodenal mitochondria on Krebs cycle and electron transport chain (ETC) functioning, biogenesis markers, and mitochondrial dynamics.
