Calciphylaxis is a rare, severe disease characterised by calcification and occlusion of arterioles and capillaries in the dermis and subcutis, resulting in skin ischaemia and necrosis. Unilateral calciphylaxis in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus, chronic kidney disease, and hemodialysis-associated steal syndrome.
