- Abstract
The article reports on the decline of morbidity and mortality of Tuberculosis (TB), a disease caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis bacterium, in Hawaii in 2015. TB is noted to be the number one public health problem in the state which has recorded a higher rate of deaths per year in Honolulu in 1990 which has achieved a dramatic reduction due to the isolation of TB patients and the removal of infectious person from the community.
