- Abstract
The article examines the importance being given to patient-centeredness in medical education by the University of Hawai'i John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM). Its patient-centered medical student curriculum is highlighted through several educational experiences, such as problem-based learning and community health experiences. The JABSOM Objectives for Graduation are also cited.
