Top-levelmanagers, companyownersandCEOs (chiefexecutive/engagementofficers) are usingsocialmediaplatforms to communicate with differentstakeholders. Thissituationgenerated Social CEO concept that refers to a CEO who is transparent, passionate, interesting, can interact in socialmedia, believes in the importance of interaction with employees, sharesvaluableinformationandtries to become a personalbrand. Content sharedbyCEOsandmanagers in varioussocialmediaplatforms can succeedsome of the objectivesofpersonalbranding, reputationmanagementandcorporatecommunication. In thisstudy, socialmediausage of CEOs, whowerelisted in FortuneTurkey Magazine 2017 Business People of the YearList, is tracked. Twitter account ofaCEO from Turkey, who hassomecharacteristics ofa Social CEO isalsoanalyzedfromperspevtive of corporatecommunicationpractices.
