The article discusses the applicability of occupational health and safety regulations and their enforcement mechanisms from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to incarcerated workers. Other topics include the coercive and unsafe working conditions facing said workers, as well as the possible ramifications of extending OSHA coverage to imprisoned workers.
