- Abstract
Objective: to identify the perception of pregnant women with recurrent urinary tract infection (RUTI) on the disease and hospitalization. Method: a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, developed with six pregnant women admitted to public hospital. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, organized and analyzed according to the content analysis technique. Results: three categories emerged: << Knowledge and unknowns of RUTI >>; <<Perception of the RUTI consequences; << Perception of feelings aroused by RUTI >>. Conclusion: it proposed to carry out educational practices in a dialogic manner with the help of order in the monitoring and prevention of complications.
