- Abstract
The article discusses an analysis published in the "Health Affairs," which claims that the projected increase in the number of individuals in the U.S. living with cardiovascular disease will affect the cost of care and quality of life. It cites several factors contributing to the increase in the number of people with cardiovascular disease including longer life span and growing rates of obesity.
