- Abstract
The article discusses a study which describes reproduction methods for Butterfly peacock bass Cichla ocellaris at the Maricao Fish Hatchery in Puerto Rico. Information about the number of eggs, temperature, and days of feeding that were used in the larval rearing attempts is mentioned. It suggests the need of further research to determine the optimum stocking densities for the species.
