- Abstract
The article offers information on a research related to the classification and treatment of a disease, Omphaloceles which causes herniation in the peritoneal cavity of the umbilical cord. As mentioned, this disease can be classified as major and minor according to the diameter of the protrusions in the affected region but the research shows the third category called intermediate which can help in the isolation of groups and management of disease by primary fascial closure after resuscitation.
