- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated the sexual functions and characteristics of sky-dancing displays in Montagu's harrier. It states that the study was conducted in France from 1997-2001. It says that both sexes performed sky-dancing, but males did it more frequently. It says that sky-dancing in males was more frequent in period before laying. It notes that sky-dancing displays of Montagu's harrier during pre-laying period possibly promoted individual quality and had both intra- and intersexual functions.
