- Abstract
This article presents a case report of an 11-year-old girl with progressive limitation of movement in her left knee. The patient was diagnosed with a fibrotic band of the vastus lateralis muscle, which caused restricted knee flexion. The article discusses the rarity of this condition and emphasizes the importance of careful assessment and necessary imaging procedures to identify and manage such cases. The authors highlight the potential permanent alterations in the joint and related structures if the condition is not promptly addressed.
