- Abstract
[Objective] In this paper, the function and molecular machanism of miR319 target gene were studied. [Method] The mature sequences of miR319 gene family were analyzed and their target genes were predicted by bioinformatics method. [Result] The results showed that in different plants the copy numbers of miR319 were quite different, most of the miR319 gene were scattered on different chromosomes and a few of them were scattered on the same chromosome. miR319 sequences were highly conserved among different species and the conservative location distribution are quite different. Phylogenetic analysis revealedthat the members of the miR319 gene family showed four major branches, and the osa-miR319a-3p and the apple mdm-miR319c had a special evolutionary mechanism. Target gene prediction indicated that miR319 target gene functions included transcription factors, translation activator, reductase, proteinase etc. [Conclusion] The miR319 target gene may form a complex regulatory network in plants which plays an important role in regulating plant growth and plant resistance. The above results provide an important theoretical foundation for further study of the function and related physiological mechanism of miR319 target gene.
