- Abstract
The article discusses amateur archaeology on Adak in the Aleutian Islands. The author details her experiences living on and studying the island. She details several facts about the area, revealing that no trees are present on the Aleutian Islands, the weather is constantly rainy and foggy, and the only land animals living on the island are ones that were brought there by the government. The flora and fauna of the island are examined, with a specific focus on birds and sea animals, which include seals, killer whales, and dolphins.
