- Abstract
The article discusses the development of a three-dimensional mathematical model for the molten steel flow in a degasser during the vacuum circulation refining process. The behavior of gas-liquid two-phase flow in the up-snorkel and the momentum exchange between the two phases are studied. The ladle, snorkels and vacuum vessels are regarded as a whole in the model.
