- Abstract
An Industrial manipulator (robotic arm) is comprised of servo motors and constructed similarly to a human arm which will have a different configuration of mechanical motions. This project proposes real-time image processing with manipulator control system using raspberry pi and Arduino. A manipulator capable of surveillance and application in which it follows a pre-specified sequence to pick and place the object. The convolutional neural network (CNN) is used for image recognition. CNN is widely used for processing images and detecting objects. The open CV library was used to perform the detection and recognition. And all of this was done using a Raspberry Pi, which runs Raspbian, a Linux operating system based on Debian. In python, the entire programming model is created. For Raspberry Pi hardware, there is a Simulink support package. The application uses Raspberry pi to capture the item image, process it, and detect the object.
