- Abstract
The article presents forensic and anthropological analysis of human hairs in Merovingian and Carolingian royal seals preserved in the French National Archives in Paris, France. The analyses aim to determine the nature and anatomical characteristics of hairs observed within the samples. According to the observation, the elements inside the studied seals are human hair and belongs to Childebert the Third, Chilperic the Second, Pippin the Short, Charlemagne, Carloman, and pippin of Aquitaine.
