- Authors
BEYEA, GENEVIEVE
- Abstract
The article analyzes the opinion of the U.S. Supreme Court and its implications for the regulation of transnational securities fraud in the country. It argues that the Morrison v. National Australia Bank Ltd. case restricts the extraterritorial application of the securities laws that may harm investor confidence. Meanwhile, it examines particular provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act that attempted to overturn the Court's decision.
