- Authors
Silva, Diego S.; Goering, Paula N.; Jacobson, Nora; Streiner, David L.
- Abstract
In this article the authors discuss conducting ethically pragmatic trials with marginalized populations. They present an overview of a pragmatic trial conducted by the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), as part of MHCC's At Home/Chez Soi (AHCS) project, which seeks to provide evidence about the best services and interventions for housing stability and improving the health and well-being of the homeless and mentally ill. AHCS project goals, values, and knowledge gaps are discussed.
