- Abstract
The article discusses key issues concerning the making of movies in science classrooms in the United States. The use of simple computer software will enable science students to plan, shoot and edit films of their own design. Filmmaking is not only a powerful and engaging way to teach science content to students, it is also a high-technology skills that they can use in the real world. Other issues examined include the key planning requirements for filmmaking projects in the science classroom, as well as tips on how to integrate science content into filmmaking projects.
