- Abstract
This article focuses on George C. Stoney, the last surviving Wolverine who met the novelist Thomas Wolfe. Stoney was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and he considered Wolfe as one of the biggest influences of his life. Stoney studied journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and formed an organization called the Wolverines, wherein members share the common interest in Wolfe. The meeting of Stoney and Wolfe, wherein Stoney helped Wolfe solve his problem, is also included.
