- Abstract
The article discusses the function of tat-interacting protein 60 (TIP60) as a transcriptional coactivator upon the chromatin environment and cellular context. Topics discussed include the use of histone peptide array chip containing histone peptides for analysis of the histone codes for TIP60; the role of TIP60 in transcriptional regulation; and involvement of histone phosphorylation in transcriptional regulation, chromatin compaction during cell division and DNA damage repair responses.
