- Abstract
This document is a response to a commentary on a manuscript titled "Neuropathic and Nociplastic Pain Profiles are Common in Adult Chronic Nonbacterial Osteitis (CNO)." The authors address concerns raised about the specificity of the PAIN-detect tool, potential selection bias in the study, the use of the FiRST tool, and the lack of disease control in the cohort. They acknowledge the limitations but emphasize that their study aimed to explore the prevalence of different pain profiles and provide a preliminary step for further research. The authors also note the need for further investigation into regional differences in the clinical phenotype of adult CNO.
