- Abstract
The article examines several Scandinavian ecocrime fiction texts, both cinematic and literary, that reflect heightened environmental consciousness in Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Topics discussed include the authors' concern with environmental depredation, the Scandinavian guilt for crimes against the environment, and the importance of a sustainable and healthy environment as a key to human happiness.
