- Title
Sofística y sofistas: para releer a Platón.
- Abstract
The article examines the sophistic movement in the works of the Greek philosopher Plato. The Sophism movement, which began during the 5th century B. C., originated within liberal education as a means to denote rhetoric in order to achieve academic purpose. Philosophers such as Plato and Aristotle opposed the Sophists, claiming that their use of rhetoric was initiated in order to deceive others. The article also presents several time lines regarding the historical development of various stages within Sophism and marginalization.
