- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a man aged 43 years old who is suspected to have rabies. The man, who have fever and cough, visited an employee health clinic where vital signs and physical examination revealed no unremarkable findings. The patient was eventually admitted to the hospital eight days after where his mental status deteriorated rapidly. After several tests, a diagnostic testing for rabies was sent to the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention, while other tests revealed brain death.
