- Abstract
In accordance with National Standard GB/T31414 -2015 Waterborne Coatings Determination of Surfactant Alkylphenol Polyethoxylates, a rapid and accurate analytical method for the determination of alkylphenol polyethoxylates (APnEO) in waterborne coatings (HPLC) was developed. Specifically, the methanol was used as the extraction solvent for ultrasonic extraction. The separation was carried out via an Agilent ZORBAX SB-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) with methanol water acetonitrile=81∶13∶6 (volume ratio) as the mobile phase. The column temperature was 35 ℃. The sample volume was 10 μL and its flow rate was 1mL/min. The method showed good linear response in the mass concentration range of 0.1 -10.0 μg/mL with the linear correlation coefficient >0.995 and the recovery rate of 92.9% - 103.8%.
