- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the connection of the incidence of mutant ACCase isoforms in Alopecurus myosuroides with its resistance to five ACCase inhibitors. Results from spraying experiments and seed-based bioassays were found to be consistent. However, the most widespread, Leucine-1781 was said to be resistant to clodinafop and haloxyfop. Also, some plants containing Leucine-1781 or Alanine-2096 ACCase were found to be resistant to clethodim. It is concluded that Leucine-1781, Cysteine-2027, Asparagine-2041 and Alanine-2096 were resistant to fenoxaprop, clodinafop and haloxyfop.
