- Abstract
The article presents a case note on citizen's rights to respect their homes and human rights in the case filed by Gomez against Spain in the European Court of Human Rights. Gomez's right to respect to home and peace was breached due to high noise levels of bars and discotheques licensed by Valencia City Council, Spain. The Council was held responsible for violating Article 8 of the European Convention of Human Rights. The article presents facts of the case, decision and the Court's comments.
