L.AbstractIt is shown that sl(2)[sub k[sub 1]]+sl(2)[sub k[sub 2]]/sl(2)[sub k[sub 1] + k[sub 2]] coset theory is a quantum Hamiltonian reduction of the exceptional affine Lie superalgebra D(2|1;α).
