- Abstract
A model of a closed system with self-organization is presented. This is a simplified model of a multijunction SQUID in an ac magnetic field. In our closed system, a self-organized critical state is realized on account of the fact that current dumping, which gives rise to self-organization in open systems, is replaced here by a fundamentally different mechanism — annihilation of the currents. © 1999 American Institute of Physics.
