- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the experiences and perceptions of college teachers' synchronous and asynchronous communication in an online environment. The study examines the practices of sixteen instructors at a Midwest university on teaching and communications of the online environments and its impact on distance education. It reveals that online teaching is convenient, fun and involves lot of work.
