Prenatal diagnosis of dilated coronary sinus with persistent left superior vena cava in a fetus with trisomy 18. The main fetal cardiac venous structure observable during pregnancy is the coronary sinus[3]; no other intracardiac veins have been described in the human fetus using ultrasound. At its junction with the coronary sinus, the MCV has a bulbous shape, and elongation of this bulbous portion can be associated with aneurysm and arrhythmia[4].
