- Abstract
The article presents a study which tests the role of α, Ω-bis (trimethylammoniomethyl)oligodimethylsiloxilans as reversible inhibitors of mammalian cholinesterases. It states that the study used cholinesterases from human erythrocyte acetylcholinesterase, aqueous homogenates of common frog brain tissue and visual ganglia of mature pacific squids. It reveals that squid cholinesterases have lower organosilicum bisonium inhibitor sensitivity and are useful in enzymological studies.
