- Abstract
The article discusses a study which suggest to involve optic nerve in the diagnosis of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Topics discussed include use of optical coherence tomography (OCT) in the diagnosis of an optic nerve lesion; efficacy of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the diagnosis of MS; and impact of MRI abnormalities on diagnostic inconsistencies for clinicians.
