- Abstract
The article presents a case study of 65-year-old woman with an allergic contact dermatitis, that occurred due to arbutin and dipotassium glycyrrhizate. Topics discussed include adoption of patch test for analysis of different cosmetic products such as skin-lightening products; observation of positive effect for lanolin alcohol and gold sodium thiosulfate presence in skin lighteners; and consideration of arbutin usage as weak sensitizers as sensitizing.
