- Abstract
The article presents the research that investigates the response of birds to silvicultural practices, like the thinning of the conifer forests, in the U.S. The topics discussed include the different species of birds, like golden-crowned kinglets, brown creepers and black-throated gray warblers, that responded to the thinning intensity, and the methods used in gathering data like multiple linear regression as well as information-theoretic model selection approach.
