The author comments on the Canadian Association of Geographers' session entitled "Historical Geography: Emerging Themes and Continuities" which was conducted in London, Ontario on June 2005. He posed, basing on the papers that were presented, that historical geography is concerned with people who were marginalized by political, social, and economical systems.
