- Abstract
In the article the authors opine that multinational food corporations like PepsiCo are not improving global malnutrition. They respond to the article "Can the Food Industry Help Tackle the Growing Global Burden of Undernutrition," by Yach and colleagues, which is published in this issue. They comment that improvements in child malnutrition depend upon issues including income, education and water supplies. The article reports that Yach and colleagues are employed by PepsiCo, the largest manufacturer of globally branded processed foods.
